Welcome to LedPower.co.uk

The technology behind led lighting is simple. For the size of the led these are giants among lights. In the last ten years led lighting has evolved from status and indicator lights like the red light that tells you your television is on standby to the green light that tells you it is now been turned on

Led Lighting

We are told every day about global warming we are told how bad it is and what has caused it . what is sad is more time is spent telling us what not to use and what we should be doing than telling us how to cut this effect and some of the suggestions are quite expensive to implement.

Led Bulbs

Remember those compact fluorescent tubes we used to use in the home and kitchen, remember how fragile they were how the lights would sometimes flicker well bet you didn’t know led lighting lasts so much longer than the old fashioned compact fluorescent tubes...

Led Technology

The LED consists of a chip of semiconducting material impregnated, as in other diodes, current flows easily from the positive side, to the negative side, or cathode, but not in the reverse direction. Charge-carriers—electrons and holes—flow into the junction from electrodes with different voltages.

What is LED POWER?

LED translates as Light Emitting Diode, an electronic device that lights up when electricity is passed through it.( a semiconductor device taht produces light when activated with an electric curent.).
LED's are usually red. They are good for displaying images because they can be relatively small, and they dont burn out. more

The History of LED

The first known report of light-emitting solid state diode was made in 1907 by British experimenter H J Round of Marconi Labs. Russian Oleg Vladimirovech Losev independently created the first LED in mid 1920s. His research was ignored and no practical use was made for several decades. more
